Thanks for the explanations. Is there an Oterro "Server" app similar to
R:Base Server 7.6 that can be used with R:Web and R:Tango?

Thanks

Marco Groeneveld, Dan Goldberg, et al.

R:BASE Server Console is the management tool to add, edit,
and delete databases and applications. It also allows you
to control active clients.

A few screen shots for the pleasure of your eyes:

R:BASE Client 7.6:

The R:BASE Client 7.6 is not a Runtime. R:BASE Client 7.6
is a full-featured R:BASE 7.6 for Windows product with the
following exceptions:

01. From the "Main Menu Bar", under "Database", the following
     options are disabled:

     . Connect to Database...
     . Connections History

02. From the "Main Menu Bar", under "Utilities", the following
     options are disabled:

     * Reload...
     * Pack in Place
     * Pack Passwords
     * Pack Index

03. From the "Database Explorer", under "Databases", the
     following options are disabled:

     * New Database
     * Copy Database
     * Delete Database
     * Rename Database
     * Browse

04. Following R:BASE Commands and Functions are disabled:

     * PACK
     * RELOAD
     * RBSYNC
     * LIST ACCESS
     * RECOVER
     * SET MIRROR
     * SET RBADMIN
     * SET STATICDB
     * BACKUP
     * CVAL('DBPATH')

The R:BASE Server is the "work horse" that is handling
the actual client traffic and processing the queries.

And, here is the document for those interested in all of
the details regarding the R:BASE Server Console:

A complete set of documents is also included with the
product.

Imagine the possibilities!

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
