I don't know how to prove it, but my guess is that you are having a network problem. I have seen the exact same thing, and I have seen it get better with tuning up the network. By tuning up, I mean upgrading nics to gigabit, updating drivers, using a switch rather than a hub, etc. Are you on a Netware or Window Server? Anychance you can run the app and data on different network? Or run the whole thing on a stand alone machine with a continuous loop that could run all night to see if it crashes? Any chance you have a bad stick of RAM?

I cannot reproduce it on my computer.
If I trace it on the user's computer it doesn't break
WHILEOPT is OFF

Scratch is set to C:\USERTTEMP and the proper rights are assigned.

Has anyone else seen this behavior and found a cause/solution?
