Ron, try setting it to null first:

SET-BLANK=NULL -- no gap either side of the equals sign
SET BLANK=[space]

Actually the BLANK seems to be set to "-" so that I can say "List-Tables" and
I get the list. I need to reset the blank to " "???

I inadvertently changed the "BLANK" character setting and when I tried to
save the settings I am stuck in a loop saying

  ERROR-Unrecognized command - retype it (40)

  I am using version 7.6EE Build 7.6.1.301

I can't seem to break out of the error message????

  Help!
