Claudine,

It worked with RBase 7.5.25.31212 - I have just checked using an old
database and 7.5. But when I connect to the same database using 7.6 the
error occurs. So it looks like something has changed somewhere along the
way.

Well, I don't have any other suggestions right now. Good luck!

Claudine,

No errors on Autochk, same problem in ABC with the simple form.

I will try some more 'fiddling' - I may be able to try with an older version
of RBase and an older database on another PC later today to see if I can
find a combination that does work without the error.

Thanks for your assistance, and time. I will let you know if I make any
significant discoveries.

John,

So the problem is wider than this form!

Backup your database.

Disconnect your db and type AUTOCHK dbname FULL at the R> prompt. Are there
errors?

Connect your db, type RELOAD ABC at the R> prompt and then go play with the
form in the ABC database to see how it behaves.

Claudine :)
