Are your database files in the same directory as all the Rbase program files? If they are not then what you are seeing may be similar to a problem I had with our Rbase 2.11 when we "upgraded" from Win 98 to Win XP. I solved our problem by copying the MSG and HLP files to the directory with the database files.

Only possible hint is that when I'm in the menu and select VIEWS / CREATE MODIFY it says it can't find the help files. I may try reinstalling from the old Microrim CD I have David David Blocker [EMAIL PROTECTED] Telephone: 781-344-1920 Cell Phone: 339-206-0261 ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lawrence Lustig" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "RBASE-L Mailing List" <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, March 17, 2008 12:59 PM Subject: [RBASE-L] - Re: R:Base for DOS - can't work with forms, reports > << > Path includes the location of RBase 6.1a, c:\rbdos61a. > Any ideas what to look for? >>> > > In my experience you're in the right ballpark -- it's usually a pathing > issue. > > To confirm that, CD to the R:Base program directory with the database > attached.
