I have seen this a couple of times as well. I am using XP. I think it has some thing to do with multiple sessions being open at one time.
Also, if I have a form open in designer and open another session the first session will use a 99% cpu usage. But if I close the form designer the usage goes back to normal. Typically, after I boot the system, I dbl-clk my RBasev8 icon TWICE, as I like to have one RB window open for dev/admin and another RB window open for test. So, I suspect that one of the loads of the RB-EXE, probably the 2nd, has its attempt to access that RLF file denied due to a sharing violation. This is also consistent with no further problems ... Your suggestion engendered a different perspective on my part. All's well that ends well, eh? Steve, Does the -ERROR- display on all workstations with Turbo V-8 running on MS Vista? What happens on the other workstations running MS XP? Most likely, the Vista security needs adjusted to read all files under \RBTI\RBG8 folder, including \Languages. Hope that gives you some blues clues ... Very Best R:egards, Razzak.
