Adrian,

In our corporate environment this has been a constant stumbling block. You
have to tell Mcafee to NOT block port 25. In our case, though, the security
admins enabled EPolicy Orchestrator, the big-brother component of Mcafee
Enterprise that will automatically set the policies on any computers in the
domain. We had to find a way to prevail upon them to exclude certain
machines from the automatic port 25 blocking.

Naturally, those overrides do occasionally get lost and we have to start the
process over.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - McAfee blocks R:Mail

McAfee 8.0 (also tested with V8.5) blocks R:Mail.

Till now we've not found any setting in McAfee to allow R:Mail to send
mails. The only bad work around is to switch of McAfee.

Who has experience or even a solution with McAfee and R:Mail ?

Of course it would be best part to continuous with McAfee because it's on
the customer site.

Regards, Adrian
