<< Have you used any of the "user" directories in your installations? If so, they can look the same but they're not. >> Also, the Desktop is in the USER hierarchy. If the application is installed to the desktop or (AND THIS HAPPENS SURPRISING OFTEN) if someone dragged the actual EXE file to the desktop instead of a shortcut, you might see this happen. -- Larry
