Hey, thanks, everybody. I can always count on you for answers. Bill, your simple solution is a sure thing and will be my Ace in the Hole.
Alastair, a button would be great, but that ain't gonna happen right now. Karen, apparently it's all still possible in 7.6. Read MikeB's email. MikeB, I had been too chicken to mess with keymaps, but I tried your example and that has opened up a whole new world. Now I might be able to "inherit" a few key shortcuts from 2.11 that I thought were impossible in 7.6. I should have known better. I understand the caveat of being careful where you are before issuing a potentially damaging key combination. Hello all, I want to create a nifty opening form exactly like RRBYW14 to handle the majority of tasks required of the database. But the reality is that some users will still need to access Database Explorer and the R> prompt for more esoteric tasks. I'd like to be able to easily "toggle" back to the opening form. I know that I can simply RUN the form to bring it back up, but I'm wondering if there's a clever way to do it, maybe with a key combination that's always ready? Any thoughts appreciated. Fred Fred C.
