Thanks Gary. I'll change my setting.

Alastair.

Alastair, I have mine set at 10,000. This was the recommendation from Razzak.

  Subject: [RBASE-L] - R:> DEFAULTS

I've been puzzling most of the day about why I could only get 4 lines of type
on my R:> screen when I process WRITE commands from a file.

Eventually I looked at the default settings for the R:> and increased the
Buffer Size from 5 to 10 then tried again. I got the 7 lines I wanted.

Then I looked at the help to find out what the Buffer Size setting did. I
didn't really understand the explanation but the image shows a value of 10,000
- rather different from 5 or 10!

Does anybody have any idea what the "normal" value should be? Obvious mine
has got changed somehow (accidentally by me I presume).

  Regards,

  Alastair
