Well, somehow I've messed up my development copy of a client database. This database is connected by both 7.1 and 7.6 as we slowly convert a bunch of users over to 7.6. The production copy of the database is fine, but on my development copy I get List Index Out Of Bounds whenever I connect with version 7.1. Then, whenever I try to access the forms table (EDIT USING, BROWSE * FROM SYS_FORMS3, or even just using the forms tab in the database inspector) I get the same error -- and no form.
I can still connect fine from 7.6. I still need to do some 7.1 compatible work on the system. While I could rebuild a development system from my production database and a lot of copying and pasting I'm hoping there's some simpler action I can take. (PS: I tried a reload using 7.1 which revealed a bad row pointer in one table, but the repaired database exhibits all the same problems as described above) -- Larry --- RBASE-L ================================================ TO POST A MESSAGE TO ALL MEMBERS: Send a plain text email to [email protected] (Don't use any of these words as your Subject: INTRO, SUBSCRIBE, UNSUBSCRIBE, SEARCH, REMOVE, SUSPEND, RESUME, DIGEST, RESEND, HELP) ================================================ TO SEE MESSAGE POSTING GUIDELINES: Send a plain text email to [email protected] In the message SUBJECT, put just one word: INTRO ================================================ TO UNSUBSCRIBE: Send a plain text email to [email protected] In the message SUBJECT, put just one word: UNSUBSCRIBE ================================================ TO SEARCH ARCHIVES: Send a plain text email to [email protected] In the message SUBJECT, put just one word: SEARCH-n (where n is the number of days).
