Perhaps Razzak can chime in about the Total Column name limit.
James, Without knowing all details, it would be difficult to answer this one. On the other hand, good database design is the key. You will never see any problem with a properly designed R:BASE database. (Why in the world would you design a table with 748 columns?). There are more eloquent methods to design a database and to achieve the desired results. Having said that, before drawing any conclusions, the user or developer needs to review and test the exact scenario and see how it works in all 6.x and 7.x versions of R:BASE. This may be a legacy issue which will ONLY be addressed and fixed in the latest versions of R:BASE 7.6 and Turbo V-8 for Windows (subject to replication by R:Dream Team). You should NEVER run into limitations using R:BASE Turbo V-8. Very Best R:egards, Razzak.
