I upgraded from 7.6 a couple of months ago to V-8 and did not notice any slow downs. Indexes I would check the normal stuff. scratch settings local or TMP?? anti-virus programs?? did you reload the V-8 database after the update?? Dan Goldberg

Then I updated to R:Base V8 again, no errors. Programs run fine, but seem quite a bit slower. Are there any settings I may have missed? It runs slower on the local drive than 7.6 does across the network with the same forms/Data. Any suggestions?
