Sami:

Would it work for you having the background of the entire row or a box
around a particular column change color depending on the value?
If that is the case, I have an application where the entire background of
specific rows changes depending on the value of a particular column; in my
case it shows gray for closed and red for open work orders. You could use
the same method to display a colored box behind the column rather than the
entire row.
I seem to remember placing the entire process on a post a couple of years
ago, but I can send you additional information if you need it.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Colored object in Scrolling Region

In a scrolling region, I'd like to have some object change color based on
the value of a field in each row.

Everything I've tried so far changes the color of the object to be the same
on every row, based on the value in the currently selected row.

I think this is possible using a dbGrid but because of other issues, I'd
rather stay with the scrolling region.

Any ideas are appreciated!

Thanks,
Sami
