Dan The way I look at pressing the X is the same as pressing Esc which means you are not leaving the field. I would like you said remove the X and add your own exit button.

When the user types something in the db edit field and then clicks on the X to close(or hits esc key) on the form, the eep does not fire. Has anybody came up with a solution for this??
