If you don't want to stop the closing of your form in the EEP, move your code from the ON EXIT of that field to the ON CLOSE of the form. Or, in the ON CLOSE, put SKIP 1; SKIP -1 to jump the focus in and out of the field -- that may fire the EEP. -- Larry
