You can do this is R:MAIL 3.0. I've been playing with it myself. I want to embed the image of the report (jpeg or gif) and also attach a pdf just in case the user gets a dreaded red x instead of the image. I can do either one successfully but not both at the same time and I haven't had time to get back to the project. It's going to look awesome!
