Razzak, before reading your email, I added a WHILEOPT OFF line to the
RBENGINE76.CFG file and restarted RB. WHILEOPT was OFF. As a test, I
took the line out and RB started with WHILEOPT ON, the default. It
seems to me that RB read the WHILEOPT OFF from the CFG file.
Has the WHILEOPT ON/OFF perhaps been enabled in a change from RBASE.CFG
to RBENGINE76.CFG?
FWIW, I started RBG 7.6 by clicking RBG76.EXE from the \RBTI\RBG76
folder, thus avoiding any *.DAT files; no database was connected.
(RBG76 ver 31229).
Tangential question: Do the settings in the CFG file need to be in a
particular order? To make it easier, I was going to put the Displays
settings in alpha order but thought I'd better check 1st.
