I have used DOSBOX and Rbase for DOS and find only one significant
problem - DOSBOX does not appear to support any printing functions. I
could not get it to print anything. I think the DOSBOX folks created
their emulator mostly for gaming where printing is not a factor.

 

So, yes you can use DOSBOX to run Rbase for DOS but check out the
printing limitations first.

I use a free emulator called DOSBOX whenever I have old apps that I
cannot run very well on XP or Vista.

I have not tried RB DOS in it, but it has always run anything DOS based
for me without any issues

emulation.
