Jan,

Just curious ...

What exact version and build of R:BASE are you using?

Are all users including yourself getting the same disk full message,
or this is an isolated incident related to a specific user's
workstation?

When was the last time you re-built the database, a part of your
database maintenance routine?

Are there any older version(s) of engine DLL files in path?

In addition ...

I suggest that you revisit R:BASE 7.6/Turbo V-8 for Windows SCRATCH
settings.

How about modifying the "Environment Variables" under Advanced System
Settings to include C:\Temp, to store scratch files for R:BASE in a
known folder. Then, make sure to keep the default setting "SCRATCH TMP"
in RBEngine76.cfg or RBEngine8.cfg files placed under C:\Windows or in
the same folder with .exe (in a compiled application environment).

To further help you understand, there are 2 "Environment Variables" for
User and 2 "System Variables".

Change those variables to "C:\Temp", as illustrated below:

http://www.rbase.com/rbg76/environmentvariables/UserAndSystemVars.png

And, then make sure that you have created a folder C:\Temp

This technique should help and eliminate at least one possibility in
your specific circumstances.

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
