What exact version and build of R:BASE are you using? the 214 version of V8 Are all users including yourself getting the same disk full message, or this is an isolated incident related to a specific user's workstation? isolated to several workstations When was the last time you re-built the database, a part of your database maintenance routine? the database is reloaded every day at 2AM Are there any older version(s) of engine DLL files in path? None Environment variables will be verified as suggested. I have mucked with the scratch settings so I will unmuck them tomorrow. The compiled DAT file checks for C:\Temp and creates it if necessary. There appear to be other NON-RBASE issues on these machines that I need to take care of. Thanks for the suggestions/reminders of a proper compiled application.
