It would be nice for those of us who didn't attend the conference but are
members of the rdcc could receive a copy of this program.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Re: Client/Server or something else?

Jan,

It's definitely R:BASE, not browser-based, as PHP would be. What's installed on
my computer is a 512 kb exe file, a small chm help file, and a pdf version of
the help file. I can't tell if the forms are embedded in the exe file, or if
they are being downloaded live on demand.

Here's a quote from the PDF file:

The RDCC Client is a stand alone client executable that works directly with the
R:BASE Developer Corner Crew

(RDCC) online database for tracking reported bugs and enhancements requests for
R:BASE Technologies

software products. The RDCC Client also allows tracking for submitted items.
Users with valid logins can edit

the account information, report bugs and enhancements, and browse any reported
items.

The RDCC Client is a custom client/server application that uses the R:BASE
engine to pass specific information

over the Internet. The RDCC Client is supported to work from any location where
Internet access is available.

You must have registered your R:BASE software and created a user account in
order to log into the RDCC and

use the RDCC Client.

If I remember correctly (which is usually not the case)
it was more PHP'ish. So I am extremely interested in

I am all for it.
