Any chance that one of you COLUMN or VARIABLE names are also a reserved word.

Bill, you idea is good. However this is a school
district's students. We have to clear through Superintendent, then School Board
and then all parents. Somehow, I don't think I could live more than shortly
into
the process, but I do like your idea.

I am still working on this and Larry get the prize
so far since I have verified that the WalkMenu decides on the second character
entered that I am searching for a color and for BL example will show a row of
solid BLACK and then show a row of solid BLUE, blinking out the text. It even
sorts the black and blue rows ascending.

I have eliminated all column, font and background
colors that have common names and problem continues to exist when I go for a
persons name that is a common color name.

I must have my color list crosslinked somewhere and
apparently this condition has existed from the time of the WalkMenu
implementation since I have rechecked in variety of issue dates on the user
databases.

Paul, will keep you all posted since I will stay
with it.

George

The obvious workaround i for human resources to terminate everyone whose last
name is a color (or ask them to change their names).

By the way, I was only joking about the names containing colors, I'm
flabbergasted that it may be the root of the problem.
