I think this is what you want, and I think you have to resave the forms.

In V8

Where does one change the Use Forms Compression setting?

It appears the forms in this DB are stored uncompressed, but compression is set
on. It could be a different setting here and at the client site. What is the
default? What are the advantages/disadvantages to form compression?

>>

Compressed is better because it loads faster and because the form code cannot
be read by anyone. The only disadvantage is that sometimes it's convenient to
be able to edit the form's underlying definition directly (for instance, when
updating 7.1 forms to 7.6, I like to go in and change all the list boxes to
list views without have to redefine them in the form editor.

Whether an individual form is compressed or not is determined by the setting of
Use Forms Compression when you save the form. If I want to "uncompress" a
form, I set forms compression off, edit the form, wiggle a control, and save
it. Then, when I'm done, I turn compression off and do the same to compress it
again.
