Bernie, there is an ancient text wherein resides the object of your
quest. It has been so long since I visited that source of knowledge,
that I can no longer say if the author was Bill "The D" Downall or if he
was the one who served as a most helpful guidepost.

All that said, if you look at your legacy documents, there is an article
called ... well, I don't know what it's called, but it was along the
lines of "Printing 3-Across Labels". I think it was published in one of
the OLD newsletters in the latter half of the 1980's. It is no longer
on the website, but I have hardcopy. I might have it electronically, if
it was at one time included as a (legacy) technical document as part of
the installation. If you're interested or this sounds like it might
help you, I'll share what I have, if nobody else gets it to you first.

Heck, you might have it stuck away somewhere, yourself, and just needed
a little prompt to recall that solution.

HTH,
Steve in Memphis

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Printing Avery Labels

I want to print Avery Label 8160
It's 3 across and 10 deep.
If I only want to print 9 labels, I want them to print across instead of

columnwise.

This way I can still use the rest of the page at a later time.

So how do I do this?
