Emmit and Jay

This is slightly out of my understanding but my belief is that Emmitt is
right when it comes to a compiled application, however if you need to
install R:Base software in itself then Jay might have an issue with his tech
guys still.

Jay,

All any user requires to run an R:BASE application is Read/Write/Create
rights at the OS level.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - WINDOWS ADMINISTRATIVE RIGHTS

Hello Everyone,

I need your help with the following question.

Can the system be run without users having Administrative rights, i.e. Power
User? Our technology department doesn't want anyone having administrative
rights. They are trying to prevent staff from installing software and
hardware on their own.

Thanks,
