Karen,
The R:BASE License Key and Activation Key are
actually stored in the registry's "Local Machine"
hive. So if any user logs onto the computer they
will not be prompted to enter any Keys, provided
the user has been granted the necessary "Read" or
"Full Control" permissions as a User or as a member of a Group on that PC.
R:BASE does store registry values within the
"Current User" hive, but these values are
environment settings for the specific user.

Karen,
If you do a server-type install on the server,
then run with the âa option on the local PC,
it will prompt the user for the code and write
that to the registry on the local
PC. Non-admin local PC users should be able to
do that and run it in the future with no
issues. Any other user on the same PC will be
prompted again for the code, since the registry entry is user-specific.
I think that to be able to do an install on a
local PC that applies to all users for that PC
you have to have admin rights. Even then, it
is probable (I donât know this for certain)
that each user (logged onto the local pc with a
different userid) will be prompted for the activation code.
