I have sorted out my problem - I was using my laptop while I was away without my second screen and while I thought I had disabled the two screen mode obviously I hadn't done that correctly. Now that I am back home I see that the 'problem' was due to the Forms Expression Builder window opening on the screen that wasn't there. Unfortunately that possibility had not occurred to me at the time, which is a bit embarrassing really - however I thought I should let you know what had happened. Thanks for your replies. If so you would need to follow the directions that Razzak supplied prior to applying the 0701 and later updates. This happens with the sample RBTI databases and a new one with only one table and one form. (I also had unloaded and reloaded the one I was working on when it first happened.) May be the only option is to remove V8 completely and reinstall it.
