Mike,
It's not dependent on the control, it's at the form level. Now if you are
going to use Variable controls, you are going to have to set a second
"sister" variable to hold the value of the variable mapped to the
VariableEdit/Memo/etc control and check for differences between the sister
and the mapped variable in the OnExit EEP and then save your changes
manually to the table. Totally unbound controls require a lot (did I say a
lot, I meant a LOT ) of work, but offer complete control over the UI if you
have the inclination to keep tweaking it, but if you are going to do that
stuff, then you might as well be programming in some other language and
using Oterro...

Before I put this one to bed....how do I enable the pop up to ask the user
if they should save the changes? It looks to me like the DB memo has that
option as the default, but the Variable Memo does not.
