It has to be in the OnAfterStart EEP or set later with a command button or
in code that fires later, but before the EXIT of the form. You will have to
look in your source.

I am embarassed to day that I did not think of that....I believe it must
have been disabled during the conversion process. If it were enabled, I
think I would be satisfied...the user gets reminded to save the changes.
Where do I find that property??

I usually put a Pause 2 using '' in there for testing just to see if it
is
firing. I take it you have disabled the default behavior of requiring the
user to answer yes/no to the save data dialog that pops up. Wouldn't
enabling that behavior solve the problem?

Here is my code....

IF vlastkey = '[ESC]' THEN
SKIP 0
ENDIF
RETURN
When I trace it, it looks like the ESC key interupts the code before the
ON
EXIT EEP ever gets a chance to run.
