Itried one more thing today ? VERY interesting.Among the many wonderful
enhancements in R:Base 9.0 apparently RBTI hasgreatly increased the
effectiveness of the OPTION PDF command. The same report, saved in 9.0 and
printedfrom 9.0 (32 bit) ended up 851,717 in size ? only twice as large as the
file Adobe9.0 created!

Sowhen 9.0 comes out and the client upgrades to it, we?ll go back to the
OPTIONPDF solution!

Wayto go, RBTI!

Yes - printing through Adobe rather than R:Base OPTION PDF reduced the size

Adobe 6.0 cut the size by a factor of 6 vs. R:Base OPTION PDF
Adobe 9.0 cut the size by a factor of 100 vs. R:Base OPTION PDF

David:

So for the file size problem you had, are you saying that doing a PRNSETUP and
choosing the Adobe PDF was the key, rather than doing a PRINT ... OPTION PDF?
