In your label designer go to View and Turn on Rulers. You will see the 
physical size of the label you created.  You can them open Word or Word 
Perfect and choose Label format and Avery. The sizes and a small picture 
will be shown and you can match the label stock to the label size.  If 
you used the label layout that omits empty lines, your label printed 
label may be shorter than your design layout, but the width would be the 
same.  It shouldn't be hard to try a few samples
