Forget the problem, I have not tried compiling an external form file and did not realize that after compiling if I made a change to the rff that I would have to re-compile it. I just thought it used the rff file I was using. I solved the problem now that I know that. Tom Hart

Razzak has an example in the SAT example provided. This simple item should help. If not ‘repost’ I think it will get-Rrrr done. ;) Sincerely, Paul Dewey New Horizon Interlock Inc. For each button I have compiled a rmd file to an exe telling each what to do, the only difference is what form to start. When I start the Main form and press button for sale it says 'no database connected', however the second button(inventory) works fine, and after I close it then I can run my sale button. I don't know what is happening because I can start the sale straight from the sale.exe file,(in the external form my sale button is 'run sale.exe'). Any suggestions. Tom Hart
