In the case of that particular project, some of the documents that we were merging and sending had hand-written annotations and signatures that were critically important (those documents were scanned in and, using a barcode that R:Base had printed on the original, automatically named by the scanner in such a way that the program could find them). That precluded us from simply using the report generator to create a new PDF with all the documents in it. In your case, it might be easier to do as Sami suggested and just generate a new file with whatever statements you need, when you need them. I still like the idea of keeping a set of "original" PDF files to show the date and contents of the original statement. -- Larry
