Dick,

This is XP, right? Chech the font size setting under desktop settings - I
don't have an XP machine handy, but I seem to recall that the font size can
be set to LARGE there, and that it will wreak havoc with R:BASE.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Off Topic Font Question

Nobody else can seem to figure this out, but with all the genius's on
this list maybe someone can.

We are running last version of 7.5 Have been for years.
We run individual copies of R:base on each machine, data pulls from the
server.

Recently put all new wide screen monitors on line.

The monitors are the only change that I know of.

1 computer seems to be running a little larger type size than all the
others. Since the fonts
are controlled by R:base, they should all be the same.
We run different resolutions, but another machine running the same res.
as the problem machine prints fine.

Forms that work perfectly on 4 computers have data spilling out of the
controls on 1
Reports that print perfectly on 4, have data that won't fit in the
spaces on 1
Does not matter which printer we try, same result.

I don't see this as an Rbase problem, but all computers seem to print
letters etc the same.
Something is different on this machine. Anybody have an idea?
