The ISP has a policy of no more than I believe 150 emails an hour, and when I
try to configure r:mail to go thru the ISP, it will stop after that many
emails. It was recommended that we instead go thru a mail server, which is how
it was originally set up, so it was changed back, and I am still having the
same problem. Is the ISP involved even when we are using a hosting service? I
did contact the host as well and was told there is no change in policy on their
end. I was also surprised that I couldn't get r:mail to connect using port 465
instead of port 25. I had hoped that might solve the problem. As you can see
from the log, I am not getting any kind of error message from the server, it
simply hangs for about 3 minutes then disconnects without sending the email.

Jan, did your ISP change email policy, did you switch to another carrier or

My carrier at the office has no restrictions but a hosting site for a client
has a limit of 50 emails every 5 minutes.
