Try calling the oleShowMainWindow function from RMScript passing a -1 and expecting an Integer as a return value (which will accept the Boolean as -1 for true and 0 for false). See if that displays the main window (it looks like it should)

You can prototype the commands in the Office VBA environment to get your code working first (which is what I do) before committing it to RMScript. Remember, in RMScript, you are working with the MSScript Control and in Scripting, all datatypes are Variants.

Mike,

when I look in the Object Browser in Access I can see the methods of the
Efilm.Document object.

No "show" or "visible" though.

I found this :

Function oleShowMainWindow(nCmdShow As Long) As Boolean
   Member of EFilm.Document

And some other 17 members of the document object.

On this PC Efilm works fine and the OLE connection with Access is faultless.

Also, on the machine you have efilm installed, open one of your office
applications (or VB5/6 IDE if you have it). Look at eFilm in the object
browser and see if it has a SHOW method or a VISIBLE property.
