Use the "NULL Format" option of DB Text Properties.
Here's how:
While in report designer, right-click on the appropriate DB Text
object and select NULL Format.
Use N/A as the default value for all NULL (blank) column values,
if any.
Use the same technique for all appropriate DB Text objects on
that report.
This procedure will allow you to customize NULL format without
changing the actual database NULL symbol.
