If I were to get a vote (which I don't, of course) I would push for a SET CONSOLE command that would take the component name of an unbound memo or rich text component (or a list box -- anything with an internal Lines or Strings property) on a form. Output which would normally go to the R> prompt would then be written, as available, to that component. Would give some very, very slick capabilities to the programmer and I think it would be pretty easy to implement. -- Larry
