I just tried it and RSHOW only displays the RBASE Main window, no R window, just the MDI client window that the R window is a child to, even when the R Window is selected in startup options, so that doesn't look like it is a viable workaround.

Mike: My app starts with an RHide. So the user obviously never gets an r> window showing. So are you saying that an RShow wouldn't do anything then?

Karen

The RHIDE / RSHOW would work as long as the R> window was the top window
when you did RHIDE. It's just going to return to the window state at the
time of the RHIDE.
