Yes, no system RAM for a “virtual C drive”. Bad word choice.
My understanding is that when a user logs into their session, they get assigned space in a temporary user folder which looks like a "C:" drive. Effectively making each user appear to be a remote PC to Windows.

My in depth knowledge of Citrix is similar to my understanding of women.

I’m assuming that when you say “virtual C drive” you don’t mean a true virtual drive carved out of system RAM.  If that is what you DO mean, that could be consuming critical server resources.  Also, I’d not want to see scratch files on a true virtual drive.

Yes. They are on the server desktop.

We tried to give each remote user their own virtual "C drive" in order to copy drawings, pictures, etc., to the data base. Only partially successful. Our online help system can usually be accessed from within the application via ("C:\" + (cval("netuser")) + "\documents").

I’d say it is unusual for corruption to occur with a user on the server desktop, assuming the database files reside locally on that server.  In this case I’d look at how the server is tuned – if too few resources are dedicated to applications as opposed to file/network services, you might see troubles.
 
If the files reside remotely from the server in question, then by all means take a long, hard look at the network components.

One of our users with RBase running on Citrix- Remote desktop, has periodic data base corruption. Usually index file 3 (occasionally file 2) which usually indicates a network speed issue and unable to synchronize the data base. But, since each user is actually a session on the server, shouldn't it be faster? Just printer, keyboard/mouse, and screen forms sent to/from the remote PC?
