I've had similar things happen with duped tables. Tried all the ideas that usually work but eventually had to unload and find all the references, delete them, and rebuild. Never figured out why the problems started but deleting in the text version before rebuilding solved the problem. Had another instance where keys somehow got mixed up. Needed to go back and delete all keys, did a rebuild, then recreated the keys very carefully table by table. It also worked. Those rebuilds find the smallest issues that cause problems.
