Lena,

I don't know why it would, but honestly none of my reports have a
stretchable
region in the header.

Sometimes the best thing to do is to play with a report in the RRBYW samples
and see if you can get it to work. If you can't then you have a ready made
sample to submit as a possible bug.

Jan,
I tried that, and it does not seem to work.

This is in a Report Header, could that be causing me grief?

Lena,

Place a region on the report and set it to stretch.
Place the variable memo in the region.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Report - with Stretch Fields
Hi all, looking for some tips concerning Reports and using stretch fields.

I have a Variable Memo field, that uses STRETCH.

When I run the report, if the variable memo is large and stretches; it
covers/merges into controls below the stretch field.

How do I make the items/controls below the stretch control move to
accommodate the stretch field(s) above it?

Regards,
Lena
