Get the right printer driver from Okidata. This printer has emulations so you
may have to turn them off or tell the drive what emulation the printer is set
to.

Yes you can call RBASE for DOS. Just add the filename to run after the exe name.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Printing to an Okidata printer

Gotta love them dot matrix. I have no problems at the 2 clients who insist on
hanging onto the Epson dot matrix. But this client has an Okidata that they
print to from a DOS program that I'm converting to 7.6.

The exact printer: Okidata Microline 320 Turbo, 9 pin

In DOS we were using the IBMPRO1.PRD file. In windows at first I had the
font as Arial, but the printer went crazy printing garbage and form feeds. I
changed the font to Courier (not the True Type Courier New one) and it spazzes
a bit less, but still spazzes.

Is the font the problem?

Otherwise until we can get this guy to upgrade his printer, I thought I
remember that you can call the RBase DOS version from within the windows
version passing in a program to print, right? Would that be a "launch"
command with parameters?
