Jim - check your date settings in the database to ensure that you have the date set properly. Note that the sequence has only a two digit year in it. Here is an example. Note the sequence string.

R>show date
 DATE format     MM/DD/YYYY
 DATE sequence   MMDDYY
 Century threshold YEAR is 89
 Default CENTURY is  19

I still get the same error. I also put a date format in the table settings just to be safe and that made no difference.
