Another thing that could cause that is one or more lookups in the variables for the scrolling region that are not taking advantage of indexes.

In 2 of my applications I have a 2 table form. The first table contains text data and the 2nd table has a scrolling region containing a linking id, a few text fields and a variable image. The scrolling region is 1 tier high and 5 columns across. When I click on a row in the region, the refresh rate is very slow (from 1 to 3 seconds) before the frame gets focus. Has anyone noticed this ? Does anyone have a suggestion to speed things up. My computers have at least dual core processors and 2 gb RAM. Thanks, Bill Eyring
