Dick,

This information is stored in the registry and is user specific.  If you
logon to the same computer with a different user name, you will get
different settings.  This is by design.  Also, you can now "save & load"
these settings as a result of an enhancement request made during the SAT
classes just prior to the recent conference in  Monroeville.

For those of you who participated in my folly yesterday, I have a question.

I run 2 working Rbase's on my computer, handy for cut and paste etc.

Yesterday I didn't know which one I was working in and created myself a
headache.

Thought I would go in and change the RPrompt console colors in one so I
could always tell where I was.

These reside in different directories, but under the same master directory.
Lo and behold changing

the background console colors in one, changes them in the other.

Leads me to believe the information is stored in the database, but it
happens even if I am disconnected.

Ah the mysteries of life.
