I know what you mean. I want to upgrade from 9.1 to 9.5 but my boss wants to
know what we will get before we do it.

Maybe you can use the evaluation version of 9.5 to demo to them??

Dan: I mentioned to them (a small family-owned company) that RBase 7.6 came
out long before Windows 7 did. But they said they would upgrade to 9.5 only if
I guaranteed that it would fix their problem (ie: refund their purchase price).
I feel uncomfortable making any kind of guarantee to a client if my money
would be on the line!

Still trying to track down problems when RBase 7.6 was moved to Windows 7.
One suggestion was to change to XP compatibility and click "run as
administrator". I'm going to have him try it with these changes, but everytime
it comes up it gives a UAC message with "do you want the following program from
an unknown publisher to make changes to this computer?" It does not ask this
if I uncheck these 2 options. Is there a way to make that message disappear
without changing a global security setting?
