Subject: [RBASE-L] - RE: Form Designer: EEP Edits: Save Failures: Solved

All:

Thanks John Minyo for a nudge in the right direction.

Clue #1: everything else reads and writes correctly within the database
folder

Solution: RUN the form WITHIN the Form Designer BEFORE exiting the edited
form.

All save failures occurred during form edit sessions where the form was NOT
run before exiting to the Database Designer interface.

  All:

  Rbase 9.1(64) 9.1.5.20510
  Win 7 Single Workstation
Full-Control permissions to all folders and files

  Replicated now multiple times.

  1. Modify <Formname> <Any> EEP.
  2. R:Style runs ok.
  3. Confirm: Save Changes? [Yes]
  4. Close form designer.
  5. Confirm: Save Changes to <Formname>? [Yes]
  ... Form Designer closes.

  6. Re-enter the form designer to <Formname>.
  7. EEP changes have NOT been saved.

  Thoughts?

  Bruce
