Upgrade Sessions"
to learn about the important aspects to consider when upgrading
existing databases
& applications from earlier versions of R:BASE to version 9.5 (32/64)
for Windows.
These customized and special sessions will be offered throughout the
United States,
Asia, and Europe.
Topics discussed include reasons to upgrade and areas that will
require attention,
such as changes in performance features, Integrated Windows
Authentication, database
utilities, and adjustments required for LAN connectivity and security.
In addition, you will also be provided with techniques to convert
your R:BASE for DOS
Forms, Reports, Labels, and Applications (.APP,.API) to Group Bar or
Tree View Menus
using the new built-in tools integrated in R:BASE eXtreme 9.5 (32/64)
for Windows.
Short application code samples will be used throughout the
presentation to demonstrate
the above concepts.
